Introduction

JDM Calimotor Sports started with a personal problem. In the early 2000s, our founder was in Montreal, Canada, struggling to find car parts that were reliable, affordable, and worth the price. Too often, quality parts were overpriced, and cheaper options could not be trusted.

After a trip to Japan, everything changed. He discovered a car culture built on passion, precision, and care, along with a massive JDM aftermarket full of high-quality used parts. He first began ordering parts for his own vehicles and quickly saw the difference: excellent performance at a fraction of the cost. What began as a personal solution soon became a business built to help others access dependable JDM engines, transmissions, and parts without overpaying.

Growing

After gaining traction in Montreal, the vision grew bigger. California, especially Los Angeles, offered a larger market, a stronger car culture, and a passionate community of Japanese car enthusiasts.

That move became a major turning point for the business. Since expanding to California, JDM Calimotor Sports has proudly served more than 1,000 customers and shipped to over 25 territories. Our growth has been driven by quality products, honest service, and a real understanding of what car owners and enthusiasts need.

Future

We are only getting started. Our goal is to expand into more cities across California and reach new customers in other U.S. states.

We also plan to continue growing our product range, offering even more engines, transmissions, and parts for drivers, shops, and enthusiasts who want reliable JDM solutions.
