The JDM K24A is known for its durable construction, responsive i-VTEC system, strong torque, and dependable everyday performance. It serves as an excellent long-block replacement for compatible CR-V models originally equipped with the K24Z1 engine.

This engine must be installed as a long block. Installation requires transferring applicable components from the original North American engine, including the intake and exhaust manifolds, wiring harness, ECU, sensors, timing cover and engine mount, water-pump housing, oil pan, brackets, pulleys, and accessories.
