How to Request a Warranty Claim or Return

We want to make the process simple and fair for everyone.

Eligible for Warranty Coverage

Depending on the product purchased:

  • Engines: 90-day limited replacement warranty (internal engine head and block only)
  • Automatic Transmissions: 30-day limited replacement warranty
  • Manual Transmissions: 10-day startup warranty
  • Body parts, wheels, seats, suspension parts, accessories, and specialty engines (such as Rotary and KL-ZE engines): No warranty coverage

All warranty periods begin on the day your order is delivered.


Before Submitting a Claim

To be eligible for warranty coverage:

✅ The part must be installed by a licensed professional mechanic or repair shop

✅ The part must be installed in the same condition it was received

✅ The part must not have been modified, disassembled, raced, abused, or used in a custom/project vehicle application

✅ The issue must be reported within the applicable warranty period

 


How to Submit a Claim

Please contact us as soon as you notice an issue and provide:

  • Your invoice or proof of purchase
  • Installation receipt from a professional repair shop
  • Mechanic's diagnosis of the problem
  • Photos and/or videos showing the issue

Our team will review the information and may request additional details if needed. Warranty reviews typically take up to 72 hours.


If Your Claim Is Approved

If the issue qualifies under our warranty, we will provide a replacement product (subject to availability).

If the exact item is unavailable, we may offer a comparable replacement.

Please note:

  • Labor costs are not covered
  • Installation or removal costs are not covered
  • Shipping and freight costs are not covered
  • Cash refunds are provided only if no replacement is available

 


Returns & Refunds

Because we sell used automotive parts, all sales are final.

Returns, exchanges, or refunds are only considered when approved by JDM CaliMotor Sports in advance.

Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.

If a shipment is refused or returned without authorization, restocking fees and shipping charges may apply.


Shipping Damage

If your order arrives damaged:

  1. Inspect the package before signing for delivery.
  2. Note any damage on the delivery receipt.
  3. Take photos of the package and product.
  4. Contact us immediately.

Reporting damage at delivery helps us assist with any freight claim.
