    The R18A i-VTEC is known for its smooth power delivery, excellent fuel economy, low maintenance requirements, and dependable everyday operation. It is a practical OEM-style replacement option for compatible ninth-generation Honda Civic models.

    North American 2012–2015 Civics were originally equipped with the R18Z1—not the R18A. The JDM R18A must be compared with the original engine before installation, as cylinder-head, intake, exhaust, sensor, emissions, and accessory configurations may differ.

    Installation may require transferring the original USDM intake and exhaust components, throttle body, fuel rail and injectors, wiring harness, ECU, sensors, engine mounts and brackets, accessories, oil pan, valve cover, flywheel or flexplate, and other external components as needed.

    Does it come with a warranty?

    We offer a 90-day limited replacement warranty for engines, covering head and block.
    For automatic transmissions, 30-day limited replacement warranty.
    For manual transmissions, 10-day startup warranty from date of purchase.
